Intro
As you probably seen on the "ABOUT US" page the creators of this website are a couple of twins. We were born and raised together, we were fortunate to grow up in a family where we always had a choice on what to like, what to believe in and what to do with our lives. We were always told, "life is what we make of it..."
Right now we arrived at a point in our life, where we would love to share the vast knowledge and experience accumulated throughout our life. Whenever we get interested in something we spend most of our free time committed to gain as much information as possible to be able to formulate a well educated opinion on given "thing". Being twins and have nearly identical interests gives us a tremendous advantage("two heads are better than one"). We can do research a lot faster(at least twice as fast) than one of us could possibly do. We read different articles and share the experience with each other -guaranteeing that both of us are equally informed. This way we can cross-reference information and filter out the non-sensible bits.
The first and most important influence on our life was video gaming, which started when we were about seven years old and got a NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) for our birthday. At that time we did not even know how to switch it on, so we had to wait about 3 months until we finally figured out how to connect it to our TV. -You might ask: Where were all the grown-ups? The answer is quite simple. really. They were growing up in an environment where technology was not important to be able to "get by" in your daily life.- That started a learning process in us that is ongoing since.
Video games made us interested in anime and English language- although we were studying English since first grade of primary school, we were never good or really interested in it-, the latter combined with the explosion in information tech -especially the World Wide Web- opened up a gate to vast knowledge and variety of interests.
What started out to be an interest in video games, developed an affinity towards everything that is tech and weird/nerdy. This means you can expect articles on video games, anime, cinema, music, audio-video equipment, events and photography. We will try to post as much and as soon as possible, but bear in mind that both of us are working on the side -at least for now- hehe!
This article pan out a little longer and more detailed than I wanted it to be, but with more posts everything will make more sense and will gain a good amount of context.
Questions, requests and constructive criticism are much appreciated.
